Christmas with Lily

Lily started Montessori School in September 2011 and this is part of her end of year Christmas farewell.

Just starting to get back to the blog and really want to keep up with it. Really fun to look back at older posts.
Well I am on my way to Barbados for another charter during the winter season here in the Caribbean and heading back to Florida and hopefully home late January.
Lil is a nut right now and driving Wendy crazy with her defiant attitude. However she is getting great reports from school on her behavior and attitude towards others so the hard work is paying off just not at home! She just got a new easel as you can see and loves it.

Easter Egg Hunting

Lil had a little Easter Egg hunt at her friend Caba's house yesterday and seemed to really enjoy herself. She is starting to put more and more words together, seems to absolutely love band-aids and the other night got out of bed called down to Mommy and let her know that she needed a band-aid, which was put on (usually tops of hands) and she was right off to sleep.
Yesterday for the first time she also said into the skype "daddy home" meaning she wanted me to come home. I did not like hearing that at all but knew it was coming. She is really patient with me being gone so hopefully that keeps up.

Nana's House for Easter

We all met at Nana's for an early Easter this past Saturday on Dad's drive down from NY to Miami. Friday afternoon Mom and Lilton's rolled in and dad was not far behind. Wasn't long and Dad and Lil were playing with the football out the back. As usual Rob and Wendy's time together took a backseat but we promised each other to make up for it when I get home. Blaire, Brad and Chandler and Adam showed up shortly after and we all ate dinner that Nanna had set up for us. We all sat around and caught up till Nanna came home. Had a tough night sleep thanks to Dad and Lil having colds as usual, somehow Wendy took care of it all as usual.
Saturday rolled around EARLY thanks to Lil and we all headed downstairs to great Nana. We put together the new Tricycle that Lil got from Nana and headed outside to roll around (video included).
Everyone showed up just as we had to go (Dad to Miami and Mom home) and it was tough to say hi and bye with all the family and good food around but it was a good thing we did. Girls got stuck on Bridge, and Dad, well he had to literally run under a bridge from a tornado.

Braided Pony Tail

Well it finally happened, Wendy braided Lily's hair for the first time tonight and what a sight! She looked like such a grown up little girl I just could not believe it. It seems like this pat month has been a real time of growth for her physically, mentally and emotionally. Next Friday we will all finally get to see each other again along with all the other family members for an early Christmas.

Favorite things are her animals, Dolls (BIG, Tiny and Elmo) and of course loving books and music. Also seems particularly interested in Bobby Farmer for some reason.
